Where We Ship

We ship within the UK only for now — the United Kingdom is the only country available at checkout. If you're outside the UK, we're unable to deliver to you at this time.

Postage

UK postage is £3.95 per order, and free when your items come to £40.00 or more.

Delivery Estimate

Printed items (clothing and art prints) are made for you by our print partner, Printify. Please allow 4–12 working days from order to delivery.

Handmade pieces (clay and original art) are already made and waiting for you. Rawdah packs them by hand and posts them within 3 working days by Royal Mail Tracked.

Chess sets are numbered editions, finished and boxed by hand. They're packed with extra care and posted within 5 working days by Royal Mail Tracked.

Commissions (clay and original art, not chess sets) are made to your design and take about 5 working days to make before they're posted.

If you order both printed and handmade items, they may arrive in separate parcels.

Made to Order

Printed items aren't kept in stock: each one is printed for your order through Printify, and production begins once your payment is confirmed. Handmade pieces are made by Rawdah in Sunderland, in small batches or as one of a kind. Once a one-of-a-kind piece sells, it's gone.

Returns

Change of Mind

You may return an item within 14 days of delivery if you simply change your mind, no reason required.

Custom commissions can't be returned for a change of mind, because they're made to your design. Your rights for faulty or damaged items still apply.

How to Start a Return

Email customerservice@thebawdushop.com to start a return. Because printed items are made to order, we handle returns case-by-case — we'll confirm the next steps (which may include inspection, replacement, or refund) directly with you once we hear from you.

Defective, Damaged, or Misprinted Items

If your item arrives faulty, damaged, or misprinted, you're entitled to a free replacement or refund — this is separate from the 14-day change-of-mind window. Please report the issue to customerservice@thebawdushop.com as soon as reasonably possible after you notice it.

Clay is packed carefully. If anything arrives broken, email us a photo as soon as you can and we'll replace or refund it.

Refunds

We refund within 14 days of getting the item back (or proof that you've sent it), including the standard postage you paid, to your original payment method via Stripe, in GBP. If your card is in another currency, the amount you receive may differ slightly due to your card issuer's exchange rate movement and timing.

Order Cancellation by Us

We may cancel an order at any time before it ships — for example if a design can no longer be produced, or if we suspect an order is fraudulent. If we cancel your order before shipment, we will review the situation and issue an appropriate refund.
